Welcome

Welcome to the blog site of Prudy Taylor Board: aka, Prudence Foster!
Prudy is an award-winning author/editor. She has had more than 1,000 articles published in newspapers and magazines authored 7 novels and 13 nonfiction books. She's been a reporter/feature writer and has edited newspapers, magazines and newsletters and worked as assignment editor and beat reporter covering police and the courts for WINK-TV (CBS) and WBBH-TV (NBC). She's also written about travel in Florida and the Caribbean. Her novels are set in Florida. In her journalism career, she has interviewed murderers, politicians, first Ladies and CEOs, all of which she considers grist for her novels.
Writing as Prudence Foster, she has published such novels as "Blood Legacy" and her latest mystery, by Prudy Taylor Board, "Murder a la Carte" is due out shortly in paperback. Her latest non-fiction book, "Remembering Fort Myers: The City of Palms is due out May 19th, 2006.
Her next novel, a paranormal mystery, "Dishonored Grave" is in it's final stages of editing, and will be published and available soon as well as "Death Perception" in the Prue Foster line!

Blogging. An awkward, inelegant word, but somehow appropriate because ideas and the exchange thereof are seldom tidy and graceful. However, in that very disarray lies a world of discovery. Not to wax too poetic lest I wane too soon, I just wanted to welcome anyone and everyone to join my blog, which is largely devoted to fiction writing, but writing in general. Let's exchange ideas, markets, tips, and techniques. Got a book you want to tell the world about? Here's one place. Got a problem or a question? I've been around a long time (although there's no truth to the rumor I was Abe Lincoln's press secretary), and I'll be glad to share whatever expertise I have. The operative word here is WELCOME!

Hey Prudy, impressive credentials....

I'll tune in from time to time to see how the weather is in Florida--especially this coming winter! You can boast about swimming in January while I'm freezing to death.

Hi Prudy,

Larry is right, you do have impressive credentials, but then I know you are impressive in many ways.

I am writing again, hence the e-mail addy and want you to know I am using the CD version of your book, "101 Tips for Writing and Selling Your First Novel."
Even Josh is using it for his fan fiction.

Keep writing

Terry S.
